I’m totally here for supporting other peoples kinks and not putting them down. A threesome with two brothers who are related by blood…well that just felt a little icky to me as well. The only consensual encounter they seemed to have was the threesome……and don’t get me started on that. I just felt icky while I was reading those scenes. She wanted it but she wanted it slower and she kept saying no. A lot of their sexual encounters seemed non-consensual to me as well. She hates him because he literally tries to rape her when they first meet but then all of a sudden she wants him. I’m also one of the readers who totally didn’t understand her interest in Kaleb. It was like she was 100% into him one minute and the next she had no interest at all.

I didn’t understand the sudden loss in attraction towards Jake. Unfortunately, after the 50% mark things started to go downhill for me.

I love a good age-gap romance though, to be honest so I may be a tad biased. I was rooting for those two to get together and once they finally did, wow. I also felt the chemistry she had with Jake, her step-uncle, up to this point. I felt like I was up there with Tiernan, surrounded by snow and stuck with three mountain-men. I think the scenery of the cabin up in the mountains was extremely well done. I absolutely loved the first 50% of this story. She also realizes that lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching.ĭisclaimer: This review is going to be full of spoilers because I don’t know how to talk about this book without them.
